Lovely to meet you.
About Abi Rose
Abi's career began on the fast-paced shop floor of the most successful brand on the high street where she held the position of visual merchandiser. A role that required her to visually communicate brand essence through styling and creative direction.
She's since progressed to a variety of roles within the marketing sector, allowing her to develop an eye for both the commercial and creative. As a result Abi has a unique perspective on 'brand' and has built up a well-rounded skill set suited to all strands of brand communications.
Specialising in the areas of marketing, content design, copywriting, social media and creative direction Abi has honed her expertise in a range of environments. She's worked with globally respected brands in-house, within agencies and on freelance projects. Most recently Abi has shifted to a more corporate focused career path to align with her career goals.
For the past few years Abi has built up a freelance portfolio, delivering marketing and content strategies to award winning brands. She's worked predominantly with clients from the worlds of fashion, interiors, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, travel, events and publishing.
While freelance, Abi consulted on the re-brand of a cult beauty product, revamped the email marketing strategy of a luxury home fragrance business and was instrumental in developing the industry presence of a British weaving manufacturers with 50 years of heritage. During this time she achieved and maintained a 90% repeat business rate.
In the past she's trained content teams, hosted workshops and delivered bespoke marketing consultancy sessions to startups in the Midlands. She also occasionally writes about consumer and lifestyle trends for blogs, journals and magazines.
Abi lives in the Derbyshire countryside, is studying towards her CIM qualification and works in-house as Brand Communications Executive for a leading travel provider. Within her role she gets to celebrate (and explore) some of the most beautiful and secluded parts of the UK.
In the same way Abi can't start her workouts without her favourite podcasts playing, she absolutely can't write without a LoFi playlist on repeat and a peppermint tea close by.
She also tries not to spend too much of her evenings scrolling through Pinterest.
